I want to
apologize for not updating my blog as much as I used to. Believe me when I say
that I’ve thought about y’all each and every day, but as you know, school
started for me almost immediately after my family reunion last month. Shoot, I’m
gonna be straight-upfront with y’all: It seems that ever since I returned to Rust
College, I’ve been nonstop busy. If I’m not in class, then I kickin’ it with my
peeps. If I’m not with my peeps, then I’m at workstudy. And hell—if I’m not at
workstudy, then I’m either in the library, or I’m in my dorm room taking a much
deserved snooze.
Basically, I’m saying: THE STRUGGLE IS VERY REAL!!!
As you know by now, I am officially a junior… and yes, I know what y’all are thinking: “Natasha, you’re a junior? Weren’t you just a freshman?” Well, yes I was, but that was two years ago! Time sure does bring about a change, doesn’t it? Yes, indeed, y’all—this is my junior year, and y’all know what that means… that’s right! I’ve got one year left (give or take a couple months), and I’ll officially be a Rust College alumna! I’m sure you all remember my blog post from last month, when I said that my junior year was looking to be a bit challenging… well, let’s just say that I wasn’t just whistlin’ Dixie! I don’t think I’ve ever said this before, but there’s a first time for everything:
I also want to say that I regretfully have some bad news: Due to my rather busy schedule (much like I suspected), my blog posts will not be daily—hell, I’ll be fortunate if I can at least update y’all once a month if not every weekend. I really do wish there was another way, but again, I am a junior now, and I am also on my mission to be the best damn kindergarten teacher since Mrs. Ingrid Martin. I do trust that you understand. Now, I want to further point out that this is not goodbye—I’m simply prioritizing my life and recognizing what is really important, and right now, my academics are very important. Speaking of which, y’all would be happy to know that I’m rockin’ a 3.8 GPA overall.
Once again, I’m untouchable, but I’m forcin’ y’all to feel me… hahaha!
Okay, that’s enough for today, but I do promise to holla back as soon as possible. Until then, just know that I love each and every last one of you, and I thank God for your support, encouragement, and prayers.
