One Final Note from My Secret Admirer

Hi, Everyone!

So, I just received my last letter from my secret admirer… well it’s not a letter, per se—it’s more like a short and sweet note. Just listen to this:

Hi, Natasha:

Seeing as how we are just two days away from Valentine’s Day, I wanted to send you one last letter.

I wish nothing but the very best for you. I also want to let you know that I appreciate your patience over these past four months, and as promised, I will finally reveal my identity to you this Saturday. Your roommate Ruby told me that you love surprises, so I truly hope this surprise touches your heart. Until then, take care and God Bless.

Sincerely,
Your Secret Admirer

I want y’all to know that, while I am still intrigued and interested, I’ve actually given up on figuring out who my mystery man may be. I would just rather be legitimately surprised on Saturday… and for the record, I want my secret admirer to know that I’ve got a big surprise for him as well—an appreciative heart and a big thank-you kiss.

Until tomorrow, y’all take care.

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha

Love Is Definitely In The Air!

Hi, Everyone—and Happy Valentine’s Day!

So, I just came back from the post office. I received my Valentine gift from Ray… he really is a sweetie pie!

Ray gave me a plush Share Bear Care Bear, peanut butter cookies, and not just one, but a dozen lavender roses. He also wrote me this really sweet letter:

My Dearest Natasha:

I tried to come up with the perfect inscription, but I can only speak from the heart. I wish I could spend this day with you, just to see that beautiful smile on your lovely face, but since I can’t hold you, I can dream about you. I know this much is true—Natasha, I’m in love with you. Until we meet again, I want you to have a very Happy Valentine’s Day.

Lotsa Love,
Ray

And I want to go ahead and state for the record: I have not yet stopped blushing!

I should also point out that Theo gave me and Ruby our own personalized Valentine card and some chocolate; he said that we were his very special Valentines. Well, Ruby and I thought that was really sweet of Theo, but imagine his surprise when we gave him a Valentine card and a kiss on the cheek—Theo was in Heaven yet again. And the icing on the cake for Theo: Olivia, his special admirer, gave him a Valentine candy gram and a kiss above his left eye. Trust me when I tell y’all—that girl’s fawnin’ over Theo!

Overall, it was a great Valentine’s Day for Ruby and Theo… and for little ol’ me! I’m probably gonna hear it all over the campus for the next couple of days, but it’s gonna be worth it.

By the way, I should be hearing from Ray within the next week about his Valentine gift from me.

Until tomorrow, I hope y’all have a Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha

Smitten

Hello, allow me to introduce myself—I am smitten.”

Hi, Everyone!

That is a verse from one of Rod Stewart’s songs from his Human CD. I was listening to that song on YouTube just last night as I was brainstorming some ideas to make a special Valentine for my sweetie pie Ray Hernandez.

And yes, y’all—that is the picture that we had taken at the Griffith Park Observatory. As you can see, it was a very clear and beautiful day, but it was also some kinda cold up there on that hill. I will say this, though: It was well worth it, given that Ray and I won’t be seeing each other until May.

By the way, I know it looks like I was waving, but I was reaching for Ray’s face when a kind security guard took our picture.

So, as it relates to the Valentine gift I have for Ray, I’ve already gotten the perfect Valentine card for him: On the front is a picture of a sunset along the beach, with the sun shaped like a heart, with two eagles are flying over a violet cloud, and the inscription reads: “Thinking of You on Valentine’s Day.” Now, on the inside is blank, so I’ve written my very own verse. To sum it up, I just mentioned how we are spending our first Valentine’s Day apart from each other, but my heart still beats for him. And to top it off, I literally sealed it with a kiss. That’s right—Ray’s gonna have my lipstick mark, along with a touch of my lilac perfume, as a special reminder.

Ruby suggested that I send the card a la carte on account of my lipstick print is enough of a present, but I want Ray to know that I put more thought into my gift for him because I think he’s a very special guy…

And a lightbulb just went off in my head!

I could ask Theo to help me put together a little booklet with a timeline that features how Ray and I have gotten to this point. I’ve got plenty of pictures and ideas for Theo to work with. I can also bake some Valentine brownies for my little sweetie pie. I’ll have to make a special trip to either Olive Branch or Memphis, but it’s gonna be worth it on account of Ray is really a special guy.

“Natasha Renee Stewart, you are like, so totally a freakin’ genius!”

Well, I gotta get to my Geometry & Trig class. Take care, y’all!

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
