Hi, Everyone!
First of all, I want to wish a Happy 33rd Birthday to my homey Howie D. I’m sure he already knows how blessed he is, but I still pray that God continues to bless him on this day, forever, and always. Oh, and I trust that Miss Jessica will treat him someplace nice!
Y’all, I gotta make an announcement: I am so freakin’ burnt out that it’s ridiculous. Apparently, my professors and instructors up here at Rust don’t feel like I have enough on my plate, so they’ve decided to give us pop quizzes this past Wednesday… I’m talking about when I first walked in the classroom and sat down, all my respective teachers told us to put up our books and take out a pencil. I can tell y’all this: I aced the General Psychology pop quiz, as well as the Psychology of Exceptional Students class. Now, as for that Intermediate Algebra class… well, I will gladly admit that I didn’t ace it, but I didn’t fail it, either. There were fifteen questions on that damn quiz, and somehow someway, I got twelve correct! My instructor paid me a compliment and said that I am an “above average mathematician.” I was quick to tell my instructor that I have never been accused of being a math whiz, to which he said, “Oh, stop being so modest, Miss Stewart?”
Who’s being modest? I’m tellin’ the truth—I’ve never been accused of excelling in math, and it’s very possible that I will retain that record in the future!
Well, anyway, as y’all can tell by the visual aid in today’s blog post, I have been tempted to use this stress reduction kit. Now, I realize that it says to place the kit on a firm surface, but I like to think outside the box—I placed the kit on my pillow and then I followed the directions inside the circle… hahaha! After reading Rule #4, I took it upon myself to make the necessary precautions, especially considering the rough ass week that I had; yet and still, I realize and recognize that all of this hard work is helping me to become the greatest kindergarten teacher in the whole world.
But right now, I need to just plop down on my bed and catch up on some sleep—I’ll holla at y’all later!
Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
