Feeling Refreshed and Energized!

Hi, Everyone!

I really didn’t expect to write a blog post for today, but I figured that I may as well do so; besides, I miss talking to y’all and giving y’all updates on my life as a future Rust alumna.

I trust that you all are enjoying this beautiful Saturday—Lord knows I am! I wanna state for the record: That was the best sleep I ever had! I feel so refreshed and energized, and y’all really can’t blame me, considering all the homework and classwork that I had to do in just this week alone.

How do I know I had a great night’s sleep? Well, let’s just put it this way: The last thing I remember, Ruby and I were having a conversation about what we plan to do after we graduate in the next two years, and then the next thing I knew, it was a brand-new day. I woke up a little after 10am CST this morning, and Ruby’s been teasing me for the past hour or so; she says that I was talking about how my Gramma Jewel may start a cheering section, and then I started trailing off talking about peanut butter cupcakes. Now, I really don’t remember any of that, but if that’s true, then that’s probably where I started noddin’ off. And it didn’t help matters none that I was lying down on my bed!

Well, I guess I had better get going… it’s not that I’ve got a busy day planned ahead of me, but I really don’t have any news for y’all right now. If something exciting comes up, though, I’ll definitely let y’all know, but in the meantime, y’all take care and have a great rest-of-the-weekend.
