Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock... TICK-TOCK!!!

Hot Damn, Y’all—It’s Wednesday!

Yes, I know that’s a totally different introduction from the norm, but if y’all were in my shoes, then you would understand my excitement. You see, in addition to everything else, I am now just three days away from making my grand return to Los Angeles, California! I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it… why does that line sound so familiar? But anyway, I’m just tickled pink (WHAT), overjoyed (WHAT), thrilled to pieces (WHAT)… I’m freakin’ happy, is all!

For those of you who have never watched “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and his “WHAT” segment, just go to YouTube and type “Stone Cold” and “WHAT.” Then and only then will you understand where I’m comin’ from.

And now, back to the lecture at hand.

Notwithstanding my return to the Golden State, I want y’all to know that I have finally completed both of my final exam papers for the courses that I took in summer school—sorry, I am just too exhausted to type the names of the course I took all this month. Anyway, all I have to do is turn them in on tomorrow, but other than that, I’m pretty much in the clear. I don’t know if I mentioned it or not, but I’ve pretty much lu… I know better than to say “lucked out.” Given that I grew up in a Christian home, I know to say that I am truly blessed to just turn in my final exam papers on tomorrow and be done with it. Here’s the caveat to such a simple rule, though: I’m not so sure what my 8am instructor will do, but I do know that my 10:30am instructor is gonna grade the papers in class; he’s gonna call each of us individually in his office and tell us how we did in class and on our papers.

All I know is this: I put my whole heart and soul in these final papers. I took what I learned in class and just tied it in to how passionate I am about teaching. It is my prayer that both of my instructors catch on to that. I’m sure they will pay attention to the depth of my heart and passion for teaching and how I weaved it in with the courses. With that said, I’m not saying another word about it—I’m puttin’ it all in His Hands!

Have Your Way, Lord—Have Your Way!

Well, now that I’m technically done with everything, I gotta get my stuff situated to where I can take it over to Mr. & Mrs. Hudspeth’s house for storage. I am very appreciative to them for keeping the stuff that I won’t be taking back home—I definitely have to give them a token of my appreciation when I head back home. Matter of fact, I’m gonna put that on my agenda right now... and of course, I gotta have one last lunch with my fellow Rustites, the Ruby Red Chick and the Neo One himself.

As y’all can see, I still have a lotta stuff to do. I’ll holla at y’all tomorrow!

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
