It's Freestyle Friday!

Happy Friday, Everybody… and Happy May 1st!

You know, it’s been a minute since I had a very special Friday Freestyle blog post, so seeing as how today is Friday, May 1, 2015, I figure I would just freestyle it today and talk about whatever is on my mind.

Well, I’m sure that some of you would like to know what I’m gonna do with all this free time that I have this month, seeing as how all I have is just one class. Well, I can assure you that I am using this free time to my advantage! I know that it’s only been a couple of days, but I’ve been studying up on this Early Childhood Development class—I’ve read the first four chapters of my study book, and I’ve even taken the liberty of jotting down notes that I think will be on the final exam. I’ve also done some studying on the early childhood development programs, such as Head Start and the Culver City Children’s Center.

And speaking of the latter headstart program, if you recall my blog post from the other day, I did call my friend Jessica… actually, I left a message for her to give me a call so I can interview her. I know that she’s a busy lady, what with being a wife, a mother, and a Third Grade teacher, so in the meantime, I’ve been looking at the website and learning all I can about early childhood education.

In other news, I have taken a look at my catalog, and I realize that the one class that I need to take is called Student Teaching Seminar. I can take that either in the first semester or the second semester, and seeing as how I’m taking my internship this fall, y’all already know when I’ll be taking this seminar, after which I will have completed all of my credits to earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. And then it’s on to coming back home and preparing for the C-BEST and earning my teaching credentials.

Finally, y’all see what I meant when I told y’all that I’m a well planned out gal! I don’t ass around when it comes to my studies, especially seeing as how my mom and dad have plopped down so much money for me to attend such an historic out-of-state college—and let’s not mention all the millions of supporters that have had my back since my freshman year! Trust and believe that each and every last one of my family and friends will be walking that aisle with me… metaphorically speaking, of course!

Well, y’all, I guess I had better wrap up this blog post, but I’ll definitely be hollin’ at y’all later. Until then, take care and be good.

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
