A Week In Review

Hi, Everyone!

Wow! This has been one eventful week for yours truly. It all began when I was trying to decide where I wanted to stay for Thanksgiving, and it culminated with the news that President Obama has not only received a second term, but he earned it. What the GOP meant for evil, God meant for good. And guess what, GOP: You've got nothin’ else left to do, except clean that egg off your face, which may have shattered into a million pieces after it had fallen to the floor. Oh, and y’all got plenty crow to eat, don’tcha? Just remember: God don’t like ugly, and He still ain’t too fond of pretty!

And now, on to more pleasant subjects.

So, even though it’s approximately three years away, I am looking forward to April 24, 2016—the day that I, Natasha Renee Stewart, earn my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I also want to state for the record that Ruby cannot talk about me making plans, especially when she’s been reciting a thank-you speech all morning and making an invitation list. Forget the pot callin’ the kettle black—Ruby is the lettuce callin’ the cabbage green. I’m just sayin’, is all.

By the way: Not that it bothers me any, but Richard doesn’t even so much as wave at me when he sees me. I wonder why the sudden change of attitude all of a sudden. I mean, okay—I did kick him where it hurt him the most, and I did call him out on his malarkey, but other than that, I don’t know why he has refused to speak to me… y’all do know that I’m being sarcastic, don’tcha? I really could care less if he spoke to me or not; I sleep very well at night. The only thing that I regret, though, is wasting my time with that sorry excuse for a boy. But seriously, I have noticed that everytime he sees me, he drops his head and walks the other way. Case in point: We had Academic Enrichment a couple days ago, and I sat right next to him. As soon as he looked at me, he shrieked—he really shrieked, as though he saw a ghost. All I did was smile and say hello to him. And y’all wanna know something else: I did not move to another seat. To quote my Auntie Cheryl: I stayed my fine ass right where I was.

Well, that’s it for today. The weekend is coming up, and excitement is in the air at Rust. I’ll be attending my first ever Founders Weekend up here in Bearcat Country. Let’s put it this way: Founders Weekend at Rust College is like WrestleMania to a wrestling fan—yes, it’s that grand.

With that said, I shall speak to y’all later. Take care and have a good weekend.

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
