A Priceless Work of Art

Hey, Y’all—and Happy November!

Well, I turned in my paper for my Fine Arts class, but as promised, I wanted to give you all a special sneak preview at my two-page paper on the greatest work of art that I’ve ever laid my eyes on. Listen to my paper, if you will:

Some say that the Mona Lisa is the greatest work of art known to man, while others argue that “The Thinker” far exceeds the list. However, when it comes to great works of art, there is no more of a priceless, precious work than that of God’s precious sunsets.

And that’s just my introduction.

I go on to discuss the vibrant, beautiful colors of the sky as the sun is about to set. I go into a relatively indepth detail of the hues of orange, gold, fuchsia, and purple in the sky, as the setting sun reflects into the water. And of course, as an aspiring teacher, I include examples of some beautiful sunsets, particularly this photo of a sunset in Hawaii. And yes, I kept my promise—I did not use the photo of me and Ray at Santa Monica Pier this past summer. Heaven knows I wanted to use that particular sunset picture, but thankfully I thought better of it.

Now, I am aware that someone may question how I can consider God’s sunset as a work of art, so I came prepared and mentioned in my paper that everything The Lord created is truly a work of art, from His beautiful sunsets to His precious children. After all, it was stated several times in Genesis 1 that after God created something, He simply said: “That’s Good!”

And Babies, you can’t argue with that!

Well, it’s time for me to head on to Fine Arts class. I’ve actually got a “free pass” from my Intro to Humanities class and my Intro to Social Sciences class, and Ruby’s been lettin’ me have it since yesterday evening. I just simply smiled and told her that my time is now… hahaha!

Okay, y’all—until tomorrow, y’all have a good one.

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
