The Main Disadvantage of Falling Back, Tho!

Good Monday Afternoon, Everybody!

I’m so glad that I’m outta class, y’all! It wasn’t a hectic day, nor was it a day where nothing went right—it’s just that the daylight savings time messed me up yet again.

I hope that the weekend time change didn’t mess you all up like it did me. Don’t get me wrong—I remembered to change my clocks back an hour, but it seems as though it takes me about three weeks to get adjusted to the change of the days. I tell y’all, I was some kinda sleepy this morning. For one thing, the confusion hit me when it got dark around five-ish in the evening, and the last thing I remember was lying down on my bed and talking to my Auntie Brenda and Uncle Ronnie. The next thing I knew, I was knocked out! I went to sleep all early, and then I messed around and woke up around 2am CST in the morning. And let me tell y’all something about insomnia—it sucks! I couldn’t go back to sleep until 6:30am CST this morning. Needless to say, I only got about an hour’s worth of sleep, and I was doing some kinda fighting in all of my classes. Y’all know that old saying about three times being a charm? Well, lemme tell y’all: When it came to noddin’ off in class, I most definitely hit the trifecta.

Now, I’m wide awake for some reason—actually, I’m doing my damnedest not to go to sleep real early. It’s not like me to nod off in class, let alone go to sleep. Y’all could only imagine how embarrassed I felt when my head almost dropped on the desk in my Intro to Social Sciences class. Fortunately, such was not the case. I will say this: After my final class, I took a walk around the track, as a means not to go straight to my dorm and take a nap; otherwise I’ll surely have insomnia again. Shoot, as a matter of fact, I’m in the library working on this blog post right now, and I’m about to end it because I’ve got nothing else to talk about… hahaha!

Well, I’ll holla at y’all tomorrow. Please say a prayer that your girl won’t get insomnia this evening—I’m serious, for real!

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
