Hi, Everyone!
Here I am, back in Bearcat Country, after having celebrated another great Southern-style Thanksgiving holiday. Special thanks to Cousin Keith and Cousin Jade for driving me back safely on yesterday evening; it was around 7:30pm CST when I arrived back on the camps of Rust College. Now, I want y’all to know something: I had so much fun with my Nashville peeps that I put in my request to return for Spring Break!
And by the way: I kept my promise and made my special rocky road brownies. Now, I could be wrong, but I don’t think my brownies were that big of a hit, because Cousin Keith had four with a big glass of chocolate milk… hahaha! I’m kiddin’, y’all—we all know that my brownies were the talk of the town… well, in a manner of speaking! My brownies were so popular that Cousin Jade drove me back to Kroger on Saturday so that I could make three batches—one for them, one for Ruby, and a batch for Theo. What about me? Now, come on, y’all—I did show some selfishness… hahaha! I did indeed make a batch for myself, but only after I made everyone else’s.
So, seeing as how I’m back at Rust, it’s time to face facts: I’ve literally got one more week until I make my return to the Golden State. My final exams are on December 12-13, and after that, I’ll be on the first plane smokin’! I cannot believe how quickly the Christmas vacation has arrived—I mean, did we not just celebrate Thanksgiving? And another thing: I just realized that today is December 2, 2013—where did the time go, y’all? Seriously, it seemed like yesterday that we just started this year.
Time be flyin’, don’t it?
Well, y’all—I guess I had better close up today’s blog post and get to studying for my upcoming finals. I’ll be hollin’ at y’all tomorrow, though, but until then, take care.
Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
