Hi, Everyone!
I know I said that I would holla at y’all tomorrow, but I could not let this day go by without making a special acknowledgement.
Today’s blog post is very special—actually, it’s been a long time coming. A couple of months ago, I had promised to feature Theodore James Campbell in a future blog post. Well, I’m a woman of my word, and there is no time like the present. Finally, the spotlight is on Theodore James Campbell, considering that today is his birthday and all.

By the way: Y’all probably know Mr. Campbell better by his nickname: Neo Theo.
I can hear some of you now: “So, that’s his real name, eh?”
Born an only child, Theo was born in Houston, Texas on April 10, 1994 to Kenneth and Gwendolyn Campbell. Just like me, he’s an out-of-state Rustite. He is also a third generation Bearcat; his father and grandfather both graduated from Rust College.
I may have shared this story in a previous blog, but y’all know about how I had to help someone understand that I am not the type of chick to mess with. Well, you may find it interesting to know is that Theo is a former running buddy of “he who shall not be named.” Theo would constantly warn that jackass to leave me alone, and when said jackass paid the price, Theo quickly severed all ties with you-know-who.
Y’all already know that Theo is the one who gave me the nickname “Vipress,” and it is because of him that the nickname has stuck. According to the Neo One, the nickname fits me because like a viper, I strike suddenly and then go on about my business. I asked him if that was a roundabout way of calling me a snakewoman, to which he took a couple of steps back and said, “I just don’t like snakebites!”
Theo is also one of the most down-to-earth and coolest dudes that I’ve ever met. He’s also like the big brother that I never had; he’s always looking out for me and Ruby. He makes sure that Ruby and I are in our dorms, and he even saves us a couple of seats when he gets to the cafeteria first. And to think, all of this started back in October. You know, long before that Vipress incident, we all kinda clicked in Intro to Computers class last semester.
By the way: We call him “Neo Theo” not just because it rhymes, but it’s like a dedication to the character Neo from The Matrix, and the character Theo Huxtable from The Cosby Show.
Congratulations, Theo—you’ve finally been featured in a blog post of mine. And once again, I wish you a very lovely Happy Birthday!
Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
