Congratulations, Dolph Ziggler!

Hear what I say, better watch what I do.
Better heed the warning I’m here to give you.
If you ever doubted me, you don’t have a clue.
I’m here to show the world—I’M HERE TO SHOW THE WORLD!!!

Hi, Everyone!

For those of you who are wondering about the purpose of the introduction to today’s blog post, allow me to break the news to you: I have been diagnosed with Dolph Ziggler-itis. Just in case you need me to elaborate further—Dolph Ziggler is the new World Heavyweight Champion! He cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and defeated Alberto Del Rio on last night’s Monday Night Raw to make it happen.

Ruby, Theo, and I watched it last night, and I can speak for my peeps when I say: As a wrestling fan, Dolph Ziggler truly deserves this honor. He’s been too damn good for too damn long, and now his time has come—and it’s about damn time!

Those were his exact words from his celebratory speech last night.

Now, some of you may still have questions, and one of those questions just may very well be: What does Dolph Ziggler have to do with Rust College?

My answer is real simple: Like Dolph Ziggler, I have been accused of being a show-off. There have been a couple of fellow Rustites that consider me to be a braggart. Last Thursday, right after my Physical Science class, I heard a girl tell her friend, “Natasha thinks she’s all that; she’s such a damn show-off. Well, I’ll be glad when someone knocks her off of her high horse.”

Imagine her surprise when I turned to her and said: “It’s not showin’ off if you can back it up, Baby—and with these hips, I can damn sho’ back it up!” Then I swiveled my hips and left.

It goes without saying, but I shut that chick up for good.

Well, I’ll holla at y’all later—I gotta get ready for my next speech assignment, which is due this Friday. Check this out: I have to give a persuasive speech. Simply put: I have to give such a convincing speech that the audience (my classmates) have to feel moved to do what I tell them. As my usual routine, I’ll brainstorm some ideas this evening, and then I’ll give y’all an update on tomorrow as to what I’m gonna write about. Until then, y’all take it light!

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
