Hi, Everyone!
Per the request of Ruby and Theo, I will sum up this week in one word: WOW!!!
It all began on Sunday, when John Cena defeated The Rock at WrestleMania XXIX, then the night after, Dolph Ziggler finally cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and won the World Heavyweight Title, and then I was recognized on the Dean’s List.
By the way: I want to apologize for showing off in yesterday’s blog. I was so excited about being named on the Dean’s List that I totally forgot about my fellow Once I jumped down from my “high horse,” I remembered that Ruby shares the Dean’s List with me. As for Theo… well, if anyone has a reason to show off, it’s definitely the “Neo Man” himself. In addition to celebrating his 19th birthday on Wednesday, he was recognized for being on the President’s List. Yes, Theo has been bustin’ out NBA’s since August… and for those of you wondering, I’m not talking about the National Basketball Alliance when I make mention of NBA; I mean to say that Theo has been bustin’ out nothin’ but A’s!
And yes, I meant to write National Basketball Alliance—I just wanted to see if the basketball aficionados are payin’ attention!
By the way, today in my speech class, I continued with my Dolph Ziggler attitude when I persuaded—dare I say, convinced—my classmates to come visit Los Angeles, California. My instructor said that she would give us our final score on Monday, but after class ended, she pointed out that I am in the Top Five of greatest speeches. As she was talking, I took a glimpse at her gradebook and saw that Theo is in the Top Five with me. I’m sure Theo was thrilled when she told him.
As I may have mentioned sometime this week, my next speech is to make a commercial, but my instructor said that she’s gonna crank it up the next two weeks. The commercial speech is on Wednesday, but she’s gonna ask us a question: “What grade do we deserve in this class and why?” Each of us has to give an answer within 90 seconds… oh, this is gonna be interesting for sure!
And our last speech before our final exam is: “What would you do if you had 24 hours to live?” I kinda know what I’m gonna write about this one, but I also must keep in mind that I’m only 19 years old, so I’m gonna have to be realistic.
Well, y’all, I’m gonna close this blog and head out with my peeps, especially seeing as how Ruby and I didn’t get to celebrate Theo’s birthday on Wednesday like we wanted. We’re gonna go to Pizza Hut tonight, but tomorrow afternoon, we’re gonna hit up Auntie Gladys’… Memphis Road Trip, tho!
Until next time, love y’all!
Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
