Almost Time To Return to Cali!

Hi, Everyone!

Well, seeing as how today is Monday, December 3, 2012, this can only mean one thing: We have officially entered the last month of the year. It seemed like yesterday it was August 19. Can someone tell me what the dilly-o happened to the last four months?

Nevertheless, I am officially eleven days away from my big triumphant return to Southern Cali, but I am also officially ten days away from my final exams. This is a miracle in itself: Both of my finals are on Thursday, December 13—my Biology final is at 8am CST, and my Intro to Computers final is at 1pm CST. I’m ready for this, y’all… heck, I’ve got no choice but to go straight ahead. I’ve come too far now to turn back around. I knew that this journey wouldn’t be easy, but I can’t give up, especially when I am so close to this particular Promised Land. And I’ve got plenty added incentive: Mom & Dad, Auntie Cherri & Uncle Alex, Aunt Gloria & Uncle Gregory, Aunt Brenda & Uncle Ronnie, all my cousins, Gramma Jewel, my church family, and a young lady named Rebecca Ann Morgan… and mind you, this is my Southern Cali fam.

Speaking of Miss Rebecca, I can’t wait to meet this young lady for myself, just so I can let her know just how invaluable she really is to my Gramma Jewel. You know, Gramma Jewel told me the other day that Rebecca considers me an inspiration to her. Whaddaya know—I’ve inspired someone. I’m really flattered—I mean, let’s face it: I’m only eighteen years old and Rebecca is seven years older than I am, yet she looks up to me. I am very appreciative; I must be doing something right.

Well, y’all, I had better get back to the matter at hand—studying for these here finals. Ruby and I have this unique study regimen; we both pretend that we’re on Hollywood Squares or Jeopardy, and… you know, I’d much rather not explain it on account of y’all wouldn’t understand it, but trust that it works for us. What’s so kiddin’ about it, our professor subconsciously gave us the idea.

Until tomorrow, y’all be good!

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
