Just Call Me Vipress!

Hi, Everyone!

In the midst of studying for my finals, I must point out that there’s a story running around Bearcat Country, and it’s all about me. As it turns out, I have earned quite a reputation up here at Rust. Check this out, y’all: My nickname across the Rust College campus—get this—is “Vipress.”

Now, I must admit—it’s a catchy nickname, and it’s also kinda sexy!

This story is actually one month in the making, but I never made mention of it because I didn’t know if this was really blogworthy. However, according to Ruby and several other fellow Rustites, my actions toward Richard has earned me that rather unique nickname. Gramma Jewel may know me as “Bright Eyes,” and Auntie Cherri will forever call me “Tasha,” but in Bearcat Country, I will forever be known as… Vipress.

Apart from the aforementioned, here’s how I got the nickname:

There’s this dude in my Intro to Computers class named Theodore, but we call him “Neo Theo.” Anyway, he held the door for me, and I thanked him. He looked at me and said, “No problem, Vipress!”

Me being who I am, I just laughed and went to my seat.

Now, when Richard walked in the classroom, Theo automatically shouted: “Hey, Rich-Dawg, did you ever take care of that recent snakebite from the California Vipress?”

I really couldn’t help myself; I simply turned towards Richard and hissed like a snake. Do y’all know that Richard was so scared of me that he missed his chair completely and hit the ground hard? When our professor entered the class, all he saw was Richard struggling to his feet, so naturally he said, “Cornelius, sit down and stop goofing off!”

Do y’all know that Richard actually tried to tell on me? Most surprising to me, our professor didn’t believe a word Richard said. As soon as our professor turned his back, I looked at Richard and pretended to show my fangs—that fool got scared again! Both Ruby and Theo pointed at me and simultaneously whispered: “Vipress-s-s-ss-!”

Ooh, I like it—I like it a lot!

Well, now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, I guess it’s time for me to get back to s-s-s-s-s-s-studyin’ for my finals-s-s-s-ss-s-ss… hahahaha!

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
