One More Hurdle To Jump Over!

Hi, Everyone!

I tell y’all—this week is just nothing but hurdles!

We have one more day until finals, and two more days until I head home. I am so excited for so many reasons, one of them being: I know that I’m gonna pass both my Intro to Computers and my Biology final. Remember what I said a couple of days ago: It’s not being cocky, but rather, it’s being confident. It ain’t braggin’ if you can back it up, and believe you me—with this curvy figure, this confidence, and this extra seven pounds that I know I’ve got, I can damn sure back it up, Baby!

Okay, this time, I sound like my Auntie Cherri… hahahahaha!

All kidding aside, my secret weapon in all of this is the fact that I’ve got a friend in Jesus. Once again, I thank God that I know who Jesus to me. I realize that I’ve got a long ways to go in this life, but as long as know who Jesus is to me, I’m already a winner.

I’m sorry—I really didn’t mean to give a sermonette, but sometimes I have to let the truth be known.

As it stands on tomorrow, my Biology final is at 8am CST, then I take my Intro to Computers final at 1pm CST. I feel it’s only fair to warn y’all: I’m so amped up to take these finals that you won’t hear from me until around 6pm CST. Yes, I’m excited, and at the same time, I’m nervous. However, I can finally say for once that I am not experiencing an anxiety attack; this time, it is just the sheer excitement of knowing that I am so close to a personal goal. I’m almost at the finished line, y’all. The only thing literally standing in the way of Friday is tomorrow, and naturally there ain’t a thing I can do about that.

Well, let me get back to doing some more studying, just in case. Until tomorrow, y’all take care, and remember to say a prayer for your girl!
