The Countdown Begins... Tick-Tock!

Hi, Everyone!

Oh, my Sweet Lord! I am so totally done with my finals, and I can clearly state without any fear of contradiction that I, Natasha Renee Stewart, aced both of those exams. I’m tellin’ y’all—I ain’t miss “not-nann-one” question. That’s right—lemme say it again: I ain’t miss “not-nann-one” question! I looked at each question and quadruple-checked, just to be sure. I would like to say that all of that studying paid off, but I know that I had more back-up than reverse in the form of a simple prayer: “Lord, please help me remember what I’ve studied.”

And considering that I’ve never proclaimed to be a math wizard, I actually figured out my overall GPA for this semester. I received a 3.6 in the first module, and this second module is a 4.0, so I add those up and divide the answer by two. Let’s see: 7.6 divided by two equals… a 3.8 GPA.

To quote Gramma Jewel: “Lawd Ha’Mercy!”

And now there’s no more hurdles. Around this time tomorrow evening, I’ll be landing into LAX. I can see my fellow Los Angelenos now: As soon as I step foot off of that plane, the crowd goes wild, chanting my name: “Natasha! Natasha!” I don’t walk down the steps yet, but I do wave to the crowd and blow kisses, then I beck for Mom, Dad, and Gramma Jewel to come join me. The crowd continues to cheer, some asking for my autograph, others asking to take a picture with me. Channel 2 News asks if I have a word, and with a big smile, I simply look away from the crowd and declare: “Finally, ‘That Girl’ has come back… home!”

I guess y’all can tell that I’m a big fan of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Ever since I was six years old, I wanted that man to be my husband… hahahaha!

But seriously, though: None of that stuff needs to happen, but as you can tell, my Christmas vacation means so much to me, especially since I know that I earned it. I don’t know what my family has planned for me, but whatever it is, I’m gonna enjoy it. And yes, there’s a certain fella who graduated from high school with me—we’ve definitely got to hang out this Christmas.

Well, y’all, I’ve got a few more odds and ends to pack up, so let me get to it. You’ll most definitely be hearing from me before I board the plane, but until then, take care and have a good day.

Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
