This is truly the greatest day of my life!
When I last left y’all in this past Saturday’s blog, I had explained that I have a pop quiz coming up sometime this week in my Physical Science class, and I have a research paper that is due this Friday in my Grammar & Comp II class. However, I was sidetracked over the weekend when my Auntie Gladys invited me, Ruby, and Theo over to her house for dinner. That lady knows she can cook, tho! She made fried chicken, fried fish, pot roast, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, rutabagas, hot water cornbread, butter rolls, and a marble fudge cake with homemade vanilla ice cream. I tell y’all—I’m scared to weigh myself. I think I need to repeat what I said a couple months ago, last time I had some good eatin’: I’m already thick and sexy; I don’t need to be any more thicker than I already am!
I’m sorry, y’all—I may have digressed form talking about all of Auntie Gladys’ good cookin’. Let’s get back to the lecture at hand.
The reason why this is the greatest day of my life, is because of three reasons: 1) My Physical Science class was canceled today on account of our professor pulled a no-show; 2) In my Grammar & Comp II class, I aced a vocabulary pop quiz; and 3) I got a perfect score in my introductory speech. Now, I want to point out that while I am still celebrating, I am studying for my surprise pop quiz on the elements. I do know that “Na” is sodium, “H” is hydrogen, and “Co” is cobalt.

Prayer Warriors, where y’all at? I’m callin’ on y’all to lift me up in prayer!
Well, this blog is actually gonna be cut short today, simply because I still need to study for this surprise pop quiz in Physical Science, and afterwards I’m gonna get started on my research paper in my Grammar & Comp class. I tell ya, Rust College is really workin’ a sista, but it’s all worth it. I mean, let’s face it: If I am to be as great a kindergarten teacher as my Grampa Clark, then I need to learn how to write, speak, and think quickly—I’m just sayin’.
Until tomorrow, y’all!
Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
