Well, after a successful and rejuvenating couple of days off, I am back on the Rust College campus. I want to thank Great Aunt Reesie, Cousin Jade, and Cousin Erica one mo’ ginn for welcoming a sweet little Cali girl into their home… and y’all know I brought some food along with me, don’tcha!
Anyway, it’s now time to move on to bigger and better things. The fourth and final module is upon us, and I must say, it’s lookin’ mighty good, y’all! Check out my schedule of classes: Physical Science with Lab at 8am, Composition II at 10:30am, and Fundamentals of Speech at 1pm. Imagine that—they did like Vanessa Williams and saved the best for last… hahahaha! And as if I needed any extra motivation for Fundamentals of Speech, Neo Theo is taking the class with me.
What about Ruby? Well, if you’ve been keeping track in my adventures here in Bearcat Country, you would know that Ruby has already taken this class; she took it in the second module.
I guess you can tell that I am so totally like, super-excited and junk, especially seeing as how this is the last module and the last semester. And yes, I already know in advance that Physical Science is gonna be a challenge, but my academic record shows that I got through Algebra, Biology, and most recently Geometry & Trig, so in the famous words of my future husband Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson: Physical Science, just bring it!
Well, I gotta get going—I know, this blog is so short so soon… hahaha! Well, I already have a homework assignment in my Speech class. I have to give a speech on some chick named Natasha Renee Stewart! Yes, it’s an introductory speech—who I am, what am I all about, my likes, my dislikes, the whole nine yards. I’m looking over this list right now, and one of the questions is: “When you leave Rust, how will you be remembered?” At first, I answered that question and said that I would be remembered simply as “that chick from Cali,” but at a second glance, I will forever be known as Vipress-s-s-s-s-s-s!
Oh, yeah—I’m really gonna enjoy this class. And to think, it coincides with my Grammar & Composition II class.
Hot Damn—I done hit the jackpot!
Okay, y’all—I’ll holla at y’all tomorrow. Peace Out!
Hugs & Kisses,
Natasha
