Home Movie Status

As my Gramma Jewel would say: Happy Wednesday, Babies!

I don’t know why, but I’ve got a sudden extra burst of energy this morning. Could it be due to the fact that the sun is out, and it’s very bright? Could it be due to the fact that I went to bed early last night (9pm, to be exact), and I woke up around a quarter to seven this morning? Perhaps it’s because I cooked breakfast for Mom and Dad again, and they paid me another compliment. I can tell you this: It ain’t because of Ray, although we’re supposed to go out this afternoon; we’re not going anywhere special—we’re just gonna go kickin’ it at the mall.

Well, let’s just say that it’s all of the above, with the exception of the very last option.

This extra burst of energy has also inspired me to work some more on my personal home movie project, and it also gave me another idea in the process. Check this out: I’m gonna create my own music video, but I need the help of Cousin Candi, Cousin Nessa, Cousin Trisha, and my girl Becky. The idea is that we’re an all-girl singing group like En Vogue, the Bangles, or Exposé. I don’t know what song to pick just yet, but I am amazed that this particular idea is creating itself. I’ll talk to my girls later on this week, if not this evening about it.

And seeing as how I’m putting together a home movie featuring my family and friends, I guess it would be wise to give my sweetie pie some camera time. I’ll hold off on it right now, but I’ll at least ask him if he would like to be in my home movie.

Having said that, I had best get started on what needs to get done. I’ve already cleaned the kitchen and my room, so I’ll just work some more on this here home movie for a couple of hours, then I’ll get ready for my date this afternoon with Ray. I’m thinking, though: Should I wear my turquoise dress, or my lime green dress? One thing’s for certain—those sundresses that I bought the other day are totally off limits for now. Something is telling me to wait until the time is right to break out the sundress, and I’m gonna follow my first mind.
